Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for driving the technical SharePoint roadmap including identifying opportunities, forecasting, decision making criteria, and cost management.
Plan and lead migration from Microsoft SharePoint 2019 to Microsoft SharePoint Subscription Edition and SharePoint Online Hybrid Model.
Define new requirements and changes for SharePoint platform in an orderly, cost-effective manner.
Provide M365 configuration expertise to setup hybrid SharePoint installation.
Recommend best-in-class solution architecture identifying functional as well non-functional parameters.
Provide detailed architecture analysis and design, and direction on development activities.
Collaborate with Federal staff to define the project technical roadmap and provide updates on a frequent and ongoing basis.
Lead roadmap efforts to plan, conduct, direct, convert business requirements into architecture and design solutions, mitigate risks, and supervise technical work.
Act as an advisor to the project teams as well as customers on important technological decisions and ensure smooth and top-quality delivery of projects.
Prepare and update SharePoint and Project Server services documentation and define proper business processes.
Consult with stakeholders to identify impacts and best implementation best practice of SharePoint and Project Server using out of the box and custom features.
Lead discussions with System Architects and Developers on best practices and project standards.
Evaluate third-party integrations and tools for enhancing the current capabilities of the system.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Assess new and relevant SharePoint services technologies including M365 and Co-Pilot.
Provide support to the project manager for critical activities related to technical analysis and implementation.
Provide technical direction in accordance with the project manager to system architects, developers, and project teams.
Provide support for SharePoint integrations between multiple systems to troubleshoot networking issues and maintain with current network configurations.
Provide documentation on all technical decisions and best practice approaches to system design implementation based on communication with project teams.
Work with Management Teams to define Roadmap Schedule and Playbook for deployments.
Ensure that all work performed meets and is in conformity with Federal quality standards and system development standards and principles.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
College degree in an IT or scientific field, or equivalent experience.
MCP/MCTS certifications, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience with M365 platform.
Minimum 5 years of experience working with hybrid approach using M365 and SharePoint on-prem installation.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
Minimum 5 years of experience with the logical and physical functions, operations, and technical architecture of large and complex SharePoint systems.
Strong experience defining the architectural vision and configuration of SharePoint 2016/2019/SE stacks.
Strong experience in implementing Power BI Server (On Prem) with SharePoint 2019/SE stack.
Strong experience with SharePoint Hybrid approach (On prem + SPO).
Experience with Cloud and Hybrid SharePoint environments migrating from SharePoint On-Prem to SharePoint Online.
Experience with PowerShell.
Skill in design and development of enterprise applications on the Microsoft platforms.
Extensive experience utilizing Agile methodologies including SAFe.
Experience with 508 requirements.
Previous work experience or partnership with Microsoft, Nintex, or other vendors.
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success.
Ability to lead all aspects of the technical discussion by facilitating the customer's understanding of the platform/solution through presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, deployments, troubleshooting, and support.
Experience delivering consulting engagements, managing customer expectations, and a command on collaboration technologies and other components that make up the core SharePoint and M365 product family.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years' experience working with SharePoint Online.
At least 3 years' experience working with SharePoint 2019.
At least 1 year experience working with SharePoint Subscription Edition.
Experience using JIRA to track and monitor planned work.
Experience on federal contracts.
