SIEM Consultant

Within the Digital Technologies division, for the Cybertech group company, the main player in Europe and Italy in the field of IT security, we are looking for a resource for the role of SIEM Consultant.

The figure will be inserted in the SIEM/Log Management area and will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of complex solutions to support customers' technical and business requirements, in relation to the implementation and use of SIEM and Log-Management tools .

What will your activities and responsibilities be:

Support customers in the ordinary, maintenance and evolutionary management of SIEM solutions in their entirety, from System-Integration to the development of specific Use-Cases;

Through the tools made available by SIEM (Security Correlation & Threat Intelligence) technologies, support customers in defining security controls suited to the context;

Provide technical advice to customers on SIEM-related topics, providing support during implementations;

Collaborate with the internal team to develop the company's security policy practice, sharing knowledge, developing procedures and providing internal training;

Maintain current skills and knowledge of emerging security threats and trends.

Required qualifications and skills:

STEM degree qualification;

Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux OS;

Basic knowledge of Linux bash scripting;

Basic database knowledge (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server);

Autonomy in the installation and configuration of Log Management and SIEM solutions;

Proven experience in implementation, maintenance and operations on the Splunk product;

Good knowledge of the English language.
