Site Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance infrastructure that supports software development and deployment processes

Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies using GitHub Actions

Transition monitoring systems from DataDog to New Relic, ensuring minimal disruption and improved performance insights

Ensure all network components are appropriately tagged for efficient tracking and management

Collaborate closely with our Principal SRE to brainstorm and bounce ideas, contributing to the innovation of our infrastructure strategies

Exhibit leadership qualities, not shying away from taking charge, presenting ideas, and training and mentoring team members

Maintain clear and articulate communication, with an emphasis on diction and presentation skills

Represent the organization professionally, maintaining a well-groomed appearance for presentations and meetings

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, participating in meet-up groups, engaging in offline projects, and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools, particularly Terraform

Experience with Splunk for monitoring and familiarity with transitioning to New Relic

Strong understanding of tagging practices for network components

Ability to work collaboratively with senior-level engineers and contribute to high-level discussions

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly

Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and guiding teams

A passion for continuous learning and personal growth within the tech industry
