Site Reliability Engineer (GCP)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled hashtag#GKE_Administrator to manage and optimize our Kubernetes clusters hosted on the Google Cloud Platform (hashtag#GCP). The candidate should have hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting GKE environments, And in-depth experience with containerization, orchestration, and a strong understanding of GCP services including hashtag#Load_Balancer, hashtag#DNS, Storage Account, and hashtag#Networking

Key Responsibilities:
Cluster Management: Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud Platform using GKE
Application Deployment: Deploy and manage containerized applications on GKE clusters, ensuring seamless integration with GCP services.
Container Orchestration: Implement and manage container orchestration solutions, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications
Security Management: Configure and manage security for Kubernetes clusters, including network policies, hashtag#RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and hashtag#IAM (Identity and Access Management)
Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, etc.
hashtag#Automation & hashtag#Scripting: Automate the deployment and scaling of applications using hashtag#Helm, hashtag#Terraform, and hashtag#CI/ hashtag#CD pipelines
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues within the Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for GKE clusters and associated data
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to design, deploy Application and optimize workloads on GKE
Compliance: Ensure the GKE environment complies with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
Load Balancing: Configure and manage GCP Load Balancers to ensure the availability and reliability of services
hashtag#DNS Management: Oversee DNS configuration and management within GCP, ensuring efficient resolution and routing of domain names
Storage Management: Manage GCP Storage Accounts, including setting up and optimizing persistent storage for Kubernetes workloads
Networking: Design and manage GCP networking components including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity option

Key Skills and Competencies:
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in hashtag#Google_Cloud_Admin and overall, 10 years of experience.
Experience on other public clouds – hashtag#Azure, hashtag#AWS
Implementation experience in hashtag#Ansible/ hashtag#Terraform
hashtag#DevOps Process
Programming experience in shell hashtag#scripting/ hashtag#python
