Role and responsibilities

1 Collaboration with Development and Operations Teams:

• Collaborate closely with Development teams to understand application requirements and dependencies.

• Coordinate with Operations teams to plan and execute deployment activities, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

• Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to address issues and implement effective solutions.

2 Application Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor application performance metrics and conduct performance tuning exercises to optimize resource utilization.

• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in application architecture and propose solutions for improvement.

• Implement automated monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues.

3. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

• Investigate and troubleshoot application-related issues, working closely with Development and Operations teams to identify root causes.

• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to prevent recurring issues and improve system reliability.

• Document troubleshooting procedures and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.

4. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to platform infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in platform engineering and application change management.

• Lead initiatives to integrate new tools and technologies into existing processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
