Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and facilities department.
  • Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
  • Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
  • Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
  • Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
  • Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
  • Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
  • Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and practice good housekeeping.
  • Perform assigned job duties in accordance with all written work and procedures.
  • Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment used for production.
  • Maintain quality control procedures and required documentation.
  • Respond to tool alarms or non-standard conditions per work instruction and escalate issues that cannot be fixed immediately.
  • Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
  • Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
  • Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
  • Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
  • Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
  • Responsible for effective communication and fostering teamwork.
  • Ensure waste materials are discarded in their designated containers and containers properly sealed.
  • Collect data relating to daily tool performance.
  • Able to work, sometimes without direct supervision, in a large area of operation and be accountable to performance targets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • No regular travel is required outside of worksite.

  • Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Safety first mindset.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must be able to work in team environment.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Can verbalize performance target criteria for certified areas.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to use mobile systems, communication devices, and simple tool interfaces.
  • Fundamental computer application knowledge.
  • Driver’s License or State issued ID.
  • Must be able to potentially obtain/maintain forklift certification.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.

 

Education:

  • Associate degree preferred or proven work experience.
