Job Description

Identify the various aspects of compute and storage management

Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake instances to provide high availability and performance

Review Snowflake best practices & considerations for managing load operations and performance

Design and develop secure access to objects in Snowflake with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) 

User, Role, and Access management

Describe data governance in Snowflake, including column-level data security using secure views and dynamic data masking features

Managing data storage within Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and extraction processes

Implementing data retention policies and managing data lifecycle within the platform

Provide optimal configuration settings for performance and cost-efficiency

Employ recovery methods and agile development with Time Travel & Cloning

User creation and access management, granting and revoking roles as per CNB's RBAC model

Define Roles, Privileges required to access different database objects as per CNB's RBAC model

Creation of Database, warehouse, schema, roles, tables, etc

Deployment of DDL and DML/Task/Stored proc etc. to PROD

Work on Snowflake clone feature to clone the DB or Schema as per user requirement

Manage Recovering of the objects (DB, schema, tables, etc)

Support end-to-end migration of the Snowflake environment from one region to another

Provide support to application developers for installation and BAU

Manage monitoring and alerting on Snowflake data platform and tooling

Platform connectivity troubleshooting and resolution

Setup network connectivity between Snowflake and data source(s
