Snowflake Architect Consultant

Description: Company Description: Client is undergoing a transformation from an Oracle on-premises environment to Azure Cloud. We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Architect to lead this migration and architect our data solutions in the cloud. Job Description: As a Snowflake Architect, you will play a critical role in our cloud migration project, leading the design and implementation of our data solutions in Snowflake on the Azure Cloud platform. You will work closely with our IT and business teams to understand requirements, design data models, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our data architecture. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of Snowflake data solutions on the Azure Cloud platform. Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data architecture. Design and implement data models, schemas, and data pipelines to support business needs. Optimize data storage, processing, and querying for performance and cost efficiency. Ensure data security, compliance, and governance best practices are followed. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Snowflake Architect or similar role, with hands-on experience designing and implementing data solutions in Snowflake. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Snowflake certification(s). Experience with Oracle database technologies. Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques.
