• Snowflake Environment Management: Manage and maintain the Snowflake environment, including provisioning resources, configuring databases, and monitoring performance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize the performance of Snowflake databases, including query tuning, indexing, and data partitioning.
• Security Management: Implement and maintain security best practices within the Snowflake environment, including user access control, data encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Capacity Planning: Monitor resource utilization and plan for capacity expansion to accommodate future growth and workload demands.
• Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost optimization within the Snowflake environment, such as optimizing resource utilization, implementing auto-scaling policies, and leveraging cost-effective storage options.
• Team Leadership and Mentoring: Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to junior members of the team, helping them develop their skills and grow in their roles as Snowflake administrators.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and business analysts, to understand their requirements and ensure the Snowflake environment meets their needs.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
