Snowflake Engineer

Qualifications:

•Having a DevOps background is required as well

•5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience working with Snowflake on Azure.

•Experience with architecting and managing large-scale data platforms in Azure, including storage, compute, and networking.  

•Strong experience in automation and scripting using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash.

•Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain our Snowflake architecture and infrastructure on Azure cloud

•Develop automation and orchestration scripts to streamline the deployment and management of Snowflake resources

•Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environment to ensure smooth and efficient operations

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data pipelines are well-architected, scalable, and optimized for performance

•Implement and maintain security and compliance standards for Snowflake and Azure infrastructure

•Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake and Azure technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure
