Analyse client requirements and work on enhancement based on the requirements by doing Impact analysis.
Work on Application development such as Design, code, test and debug with mainframe skills such as COBOL, DB2, IMS,JCL, Zeke, File Aid, Changeman, and AbendAid.
Develop code and migrate changes to the production environment and during postproduction..
Execute various forms of testing – unit, system, regression, integration, and performance.
Create and manage databases, tables, indexes, views, Triggers, sequences and other DB2 objects.
Work on loading, unloading tables and providing access to DB2 objects as per request.
Monitor Batch jobs and optimizing database performance.
Apply security measures to protect the database from unauthorized access.
Provide technical support to users and developers.
Academic Qualifications:
This position requires, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
