Software Developer

Software Developer - .Net, C#, SQL, DevOps, Cloud AWS, RESTful API, Python Qualifications • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalency in related education and professional work experience • Financials (banking/lending) or Retail experience • 8+ years of work experience in a software development role • 4+ years of experience in a combination of the following: - Cloud-based infrastructure, AWS preferred, Agile team, DevOps, and modern tech stacks - Demonstrated knowledge of microservices architecture, application development lifecycle, event-driven and asynchronous architecture, object-oriented design, etc. - .NET Core, C#; development of RESTful API services. Certifications and additional experience with languages such as Python a plus. - MySQL, Dynamo, or similar database experience - Azure DevOps and Pipelines; CI/CD a plus - Git or an equivalent distributed version-control system / repo - Experience with or a willingness to learn to read COBOL and JCL code a plus • Proven ability to collaborate on designs, estimates, and delivery of complex development tasks while acting as a proactive team member in an Agile development environment • Creates clean and maintainable code following coding standards and secure coding requirements • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Drives innovation and delivers high-quality products that meet customer needs • Willingness to go beyond typical job duties to help the team meet sprint commitments • Proficient in verbal and written communication for both technical and business audiences • Continually enhance and share knowledge in application development best practices, technologies, methodologies, and standards • Willingly acquires, applies, and trains others in new technical skills driven by business needs or technological advancements
