Job Description:-
Develop, maintain and improve Cognos Framework Manager Models and packages to support business requirements.
Develop and maintain standards for reporting development, deployment and administration of Cognos BI.
Advanced prompting using JavaScript and also to enhance report functionality.
Create documentation and procedures for reporting environment.
Develop several reports List, Crosstab, drill through, master detail, charts and complex reports involving multiple prompts, conditional formatting, filters, multi-page and multi-query reports.
Responsible for testing, data validation of reports and performance tuning of reports.
Debugging sql server stored procedures/Triggers, tables, user defined functions, relational database models and data integrity, sql joins and t-sql.
Develop and maintain full life cycle methodology including change management processes and ensure changes are properly tested and migrated to production.
Demonstrated ability to work in Dashboard development using Active reports Controls.
Ability to quickly Prototype reporting solutions/Dashboards.
Proven analytical, organizational and problem solving ability.
Ability to work independently and in group settings.
Experience with Cognos Maps is Preferred.
Must have experience with Active Reports Development.
Experience with Java scripting is Preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational skills to work on multiple concurrent assignments.
Technologies:
Sql server, Java, sql, plsql, Sql, T-Sql, Windows/UNIX Operating systems.

Cognos BI 10.2.2, Management Studio, IBM Cognos Connection, Cognos Framework manager, Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Event Studio.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent).
