Description: Our largest clients is currently seeking a Software Developer to join their growing team!

Position Title: Backend Javascript Developer

Required Skills: Postgres databases (or ORM)/API integration work, Backend Javascript/TypeScript (Nest.JS highly preferred), open to “Full Stack Javascript” with backend focus

Nice to have skills: Nest.JS, Prisma ORM, Mono-repo libraries in Javascript, Node.js

Location: Washington, D.C. (hybrid)

Team: Voice Platform for AI for machine learning algorithms

Ideal Candidate

 

  • Javascript Fullstack Engineer who can hit the ground running
  • working on a Full Stack Javascript web application
  • Need exposure to Typescript/Javascript development
  • specifically Nest.JS or open to Node.JS if all other stars align
  • Need exposure to Rest APIs on Javascript stack – connecting with an objective database
  • Would ideally have exposure to PostgresSQL or another ORM database model/objective database 

     

Day To Day

 

  • 60% of the time will be coding and contributing to projects, rest of the time is code reviews, meetings, etc.
  • Will be primarily doing backend Javascript database development to connect web application (Postgres DB, Javascript/Typescript/Nest.JS)
  • Managing day to day within database
  • rest API integrations, checking how integrations communicate,
  • Agile sprints, 2 weeks at a time
