Software Development Engineer

Summary

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code using Informatica PowerCenter. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work for one or more clients in Mumbai.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
Implement data transformations, mappings, and workflows to move data from source systems to target databases or data warehouses.
Leverage Informatica PowerExchange for capturing changes to data in near real time.
Set up CDC processes to monitor source tables and replicate changes to target tables or files.
Ensure synchronization between source and target systems by capturing only the relevant changes.
Optimize ETL workflows for efficiency and scalability.
Monitor and fine-tune data pipelines to meet performance requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Professional & Technical Skills

Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter for ETL workflows.
Familiarity with Informatica Power Exchange for CDC.
SQL expertise for data manipulation and querying.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.
Candidate should be willing to travel to client site located in BKC
Candidate will have to follow bank working / holiday calendar
