Creators distribute and sell amazing videos through our customer-branded websites and apps on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android, Roku, Samsung Tizen, and Xbox. Our core technology is a React and Rails web app that powers tools for thousands of creators and APIs serving millions of viewers.

What you'll do:
 

  • Own the mission-critical data pipeline that processes billions of events weekly and powers the insights OTT creators need to grow their business.
  • Write well-tested and performant code using Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript.
  • Improve performance, monitoring, and alerting for our data services.
  • Deliver high-value data features, integrate them with our web platform, and move the needle for creators and for OTT.
  • Grow your technical expertise to become an effective collaborator with other teams on complex integrations and innovative technical solutions.
  • Uphold best practices and standards. 

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • BTech or M.Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Total 4 years of experience in IT with Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript.
  • You have experience shipping high-impact, well-factored features using Python.
  • You know your way around the extract-transform-load (ETL) paradigm and the popular tools – Kafka, Snowflake, Airflow.
  • You’re highly proficient in agile software development processes and best practices.
  • You prioritize shipping user value and focus on making an impact for users.
  • You always strive to write high-quality code and automated tests, and you care about the details.
  • You communicate well verbally and in writing, across different kinds of audiences.
  • You’re an inveterate learner, highly curious, unafraid to jump out of the plane and build your parachute on the way down (metaphorically speaking).
