Software Engineer

Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake

5+ years of experience writing SQL or any query language

Must have at least 2-3 End to End project implementation experience.

Integration experience should include building snowflake queries to bring data from SAP ECC and S4 application to a planning system.

Understands the touchpoints with Kinaxis and Kinaxis data model to be able to integrate data between SAP and Kinaxis

CPI experience will be an added advantage

Project

- Extracting, transforming, loading data inside snowflake

- The data will be manipulated to work with Kinaxis and S4

Need

- Experience with a planning tool- Kinaxis (Does not necessarily need to be Kinaxis but they need to understand/ work with a planning tool.)

- Supply chain planning as a functionality (nice to have)

- Scripting

- SQL queries (Must have) – majority of the transformation work is in SQL

- Java experience (Nice to have)

Interview

- 1 if the interview goes well – potentially 2 interviews.

Extra

- There is flexibility in the skillset. We first need someone who can start on the project and can work within snowflake. The second hire (offshore) will be more specific to the needs of the project. The second position may need to have a stronger focus in Kinaxis or S4 depending on the skillset of the first hire.

Job Details:

Design, Build and configure snowflake integration to meet business process and application requirements.

Should be able to drive discussion with the client and conduct workshops

Should be able to drive project integration deliverables and liaison with other teams

Should be able to understand the current landscape and re-design the snowflake integration as per the change in requirements

Good knowledge on different Snowflake features (Time travel, Fail safe, Data Streams, Tasks, Cloning, Data masking, Data sharing, etc.)

Good exposure on Snowflake Insert, Update and Merge command.

Good knowledge on Snowflake Stages (User Stage, Table Stage, Named Stage, External Stage)

Good exposure on different types of snowflake tables and views.

Experience in creating External tables Skills
