Software Engineer & Database Engineer

Skills:

• Programming Languages: SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, C#, Bash, HTML
• Cloud Platforms: AWS
• Data Processing: Large-scale data processing, optimization, and analysis
• AI/ML: Experience with AI and machine learning applications
• API Development: Building and integrating APIs
• Data Modeling: Designing and implementing data models
• Database Management: Managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications, including data pipelines and APIs.
• Work closely with PostgreSQL to build queries and APIs for data processing.
• Analyze and process large datasets (over 1 million records per night) for inventory management.
• Develop AI and machine learning models to extract insights from data.
• Optimize data processing pipelines for efficiency and scalability.
• Scrape websites to gather data and store it in the database.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth integration of software components.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and data processing tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and at least one programming language (Python, C#, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
