Software Engineer II

 
Duties:
* Responsible for learning and supporting technology initiatives related to card payments and issuance
* As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for up keeping applications and facilitating the continuous improvement of system reliability and efficiency
* Assist in estimating the level-of-effort needed for designing and coding new systems and interfaces

* 5+ years of C++/Java API development – full lifecycle development experience
* Experience with scripting, maintenance/production/support
* Oracle, PostgreSQL, CTree database experience
* Experience with AIX/Linux environments
* Familiarity working in both Waterfall and Agile environments
* Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, coding, testing and engaging partners to deliver features using established methodologies
* Debit card domain expertise (transaction processing/card management, ISO8583 standards) preferred
