Software Engineer

Job Description

Working together with Big Telecom's IT Security Team.

Implement and advocate for security related best-practices and standardizations (such as SOC-2)

Analyze the current threat landscape to identify and amend detection weaknesses

Investigate and respond to security alerts reported by internal and external sources

Create automatically testable, well documented solutions; participate in peer reviews.

Implementation of user stories as a member of an agile team

Participate in agile practices such as standups, estimating, prioritization and retrospectives.

Your skills.

Several years of experience or equivalent expertise programming in multiple object-oriented or functional programming languages.

Expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure deploying or similar.

Deep knowledge in cloud access management, security settings and authentication/authorization

Compute security, container hardening & image management

"Get things done" attitude

Excellent team player in an English-speaking company

Ability to embrace change and work in a fast paced, iterative environment.

Willingness to accept new challenges, assist in troubleshootingissues, and possess the ability to jump into areas that go beyond the job description

Ideally, you also have.

Master's Degree in the area of software development.

Technical writing skills.

Good organizational skills.

Capability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of various factors.

A strong sense of urgency and bias to action being able to think on your feet.
