About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

BSC in computer science/ SW engineering or similar degree.

0-2 years of experience /Knowledge of Java/ Python/ C++/ similar developing languages   (we develop in Java)

Ability to conduct a conversation in English.

It would be great if you also had . . .  

Experience working in an Agile Development environment.

 Ability to research and implement new technologies.

Familiarity Angular

What will you be doing in this role? 

Developing new features. 

Implementing new/upgraded 3rd party tools/technologies. 

Fixing defects. 

You will be working closely with the QA team,

product managers, and team members.

Responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component, to meet agreed business needs.

Esploro is a research information management system, for all the different types of research outputs created at the institution.

The product consists of 3 interfaces: the Research Information - the back office of the system, the Research Portal – discovery interface, and Researcher Profiles – researchers-oriented interface.

About the Team

The Esplrero Software engineering team consists of 6 team members (we’re looking for the 7th ). You'll report to the Software Engineering Manager.
