Software Engineer

 Job Description:

Requirements:
·      Specialize in working within IBM Watson Foundational to ensure crawling, indexing, and query capabilities meet customer expectations.
·      Adhere to established guidelines, including coding and versioning standards, workflow automations, and change/incident/vulnerability/problem management.
·      Take responsibility for periodic on-call support of reported High/Critical Incidents related to the Search Engine Application and Infrastructure.
·      Proficiency in administrating/supporting applications hosted within Linux Infrastructure.
·      Experience working with various Search Engines such as IBM Watson, Solr, ElasticSearch, and OpenSearch.
·      Experience in communicating technical decisions and their rationales to stakeholders and development teams.
·      Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with enterprise search technologies (IBM Watson, OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, Solr).
·      Familiarity with cloud databases and complex environments requiring high performance and scalability.
·      Experience administrating/supporting applications hosted within Linux Infrastructure.
·      Experience working with Search Engines (IBM Watson, Solr, ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, etc.).
·      Demonstrated technical problem-solving abilities.
·      Ability to work with cloud databases and complex environments requiring high performance and scalability.
