Responsibilities:
 

Understand and support the design, implementation and troubleshooting of PLC programs using Beckhoff Automation software for large-scale industrial applications. (Beckhoff training provided.)

Maintain programming standards and best practices while providing solutions for customers

Read and understand different schematics including electrical and hydraulic

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and Austria to support PLC systems with HMIs, SCADA systems, and other industrial control equipment

Participate in on-site installations, commissioning, and customer training

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in industrial automation

Provide technical leadership on projects, including system architecture design and project planning

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's professional development

Qualifications:
 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

3+ years of recent experience in industrial automation and PLC programming

Advanced proficiency in PLC platform such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, GE, Omron, Schneider Electric using structured text

Proficiency in Beckhoff programming language preferred

Extensive experience with HMI development, SCADA systems, and industrial networks

Verifiable experience with SQL, TwinCAT3, and Delphi is preferred

Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Control Systems Technician)

Strong knowledge of industrial processes and manufacturing systems beyond conveyor type machinery

Excellent project management and client communication skills

Fluency in English and German will be evaluated
