Job Title: SWET (Software Engineer in Test)

Duties

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand the client and business requirements.
  • Participate in grooming and estimation of requirements for project planning and execution.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. 
  • Create and review feature files, step definitions and scripts using Selenium Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
  • Create accurate test cases based on test plans.
  • Develop automation scripts for AWS Cloud Automation, Web and Mobile Automation using Java, Python, Selenium, WebDriver, Appium, Rest API, Karate, Pytest, Boto3, SeeTest, WireMock, Cucumber, Cypress. Also having knowledge on SQL, Splung and DataDog, SDK Manager tools to test both Web, Mobile and Cloud applications and implement suitable continuous integration (CI) frameworks enabling earlier discovery of defects and higher quality software.
  • Provide guidance to the peers in QA team for development of automation scripts, enhancement of automation framework and management of test data and plans.
  • Work proactively with digital developers, managers and business partners to develop, coordinate, communicate and enforce testing schedules, and deliverables.
  • Setup test data for each level of testing and execute automation scripts for all functional, regression and user acceptance testing stages.
  • Provide guidance to the QA team for development of automation scripts, enhancement of automation framework and management of test data and plans.
  • Triage and agree upon severity and priority with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform RCA for QA failure scenarios and update existing test cases and test plans.
  • Prepare and review QA reports in a prescribed template and present QA reports to both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirement: Applicants must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related fields. Travel/relocation required as jobs will be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
