Software Quality Assurance Engineer

What You Will Do

Manual testing of SketchUp’s C API and Ruby API
Test newly introduced or updated product features, track defects, and ensure quality of any code change
Review design documents to ensure testability of new features as well as the quality of the design
Being a leader in setting a high bar for quality standards
Creation and maintenance of testing documentation
Development and maintenance of automated tests in tools like TestUp
Supporting partners using the SketchUp APIs and actively engaging with the SketchUp developer community

Essential Skills & Experience

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
1-3 years of QA experience
Proficiency with a defect tracking system such as JIRA
Self-sufficient, can work with minimal guidance
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Skills & Experience

Ruby scripting
API test experience
Proficiency with 3D/2D modelling and visualisation software
Real world experience in the Architectural or Civil Engineering field
