Software Quality Assurance Tester

Position Description

Develop, create and test comprehensive test cases and detailed test procedures for System, Integration, Regression, Smoke, Functional/Black Box, DB/Back end;  write test suite using automation tools (i.e.. Selenium, QTP); Regression and DB/Back end testing with Oracle and SQL Server;  testing on Client/Server and Web based applications, Salesforce testing, Smoke Testing, Black box testing, Functional testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Ad-hoc Testing, Security Testing and Performance Testing (with Neoload, LoadRunner);   involved in all phases of Test Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, test planning, scheduling, testing, defect tracking and reporting;  design and develop automated testing solutions, including development of unit and browser automation tests: perform and monitor test execution, evaluate test results; perform manual and automated tests based on the test specification and report test results; design/implement infrastructure and test scripts for automated tests; prepare traceability matrix and test reports;  Responsible for in creating frame works like Data Driven, Test Driven Development and BDD; Analyzing customer feedback to identify how test gaps and suggested mitigations will affect our test automation architecture; review and troubleshoot software applications for business and functional requirements; develop, publish, and implement test plans and test cases; write and maintain test automation preferred; back end testing and writing SQL queries, Joins, Procedures using Oracle and SQL Server; utilize bug tracking tool Bugzilla, JIRA (Confluence), QC(ALM); develop new automation solutions using Selenium, Cucumber, and other in-house automation frameworks; utilize Scrum, agile, waterfall methodologies from requirements through delivery of the project.  Relocation/telecommuting may be required plus travel to various unanticipated client locations within the US for short and long term assignments.

Education

Master’s in Computer Science/Applications/Engineering (Electronic/ Electrical/ Telecom). Will accept Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Applications, Engineering followed by at least five years of progressive experience in field or related field in lieu of Masters. Foreign Education Accepted.
