Position description:
- The Software Solution Architect will support and complete the tasks necessary to design and implement a methodology to enable the client’s Health Services ESB to track the transmission of messages and provide additional related services supporting the interfaces for systems connecting to the Data Hub.
- Solution Architect will work under the direction of Customer Services, and cross matrix teams to support and complete the tasks necessary for the Enterprise ISA technical team.
- The Solution Architect is integral to supporting and improving automated processes, streamlining critical business processes, data integrity, SEM/SUITE compliance, and securing the applications.
- As a lead, the Solution Architect participates in a variety of assignments that provides for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects.
- The Solution Architect will also provide application oversight to business analysts and to other teams integrating with Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB).

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing solutions for new use cases.
- Responsible for developing ROMs for new use cases.
- Responsible for overall system design
- Review and approve system design for new use cases.
- Responsible for overall code and configuration
- Review and approve code deliverables.
- Coach and mentor developers
- Code of applications, interfaces, modules, components, and reports
- Complete testing plan and checklists
- Produce requested Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) deliverables.
- Complete transition and maintenance plans to enable state staff to maintain applications, code, interfaces, modules, components, and reports.
- Perform knowledge transfer to state staff.
- Create technical documentation.
- Document and maintain the Incident Response Plan (IRP)
- Document, track and resolve technical exception requests (TRB)
- Document and maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)
- Responsible for Health Service ESB’s SSP / ATO / POAMS
- Follow configuration management processes implemented.
- Vendor support for Rhapsody licensing and software.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Implementing solutions based on Implementation Guides
- Custom message payload translation from one format (e.g., JSON, XML, HL7) to a different format (e.g., proprietary/legacy format)
- Experience using web services, SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP-connections, LLP, etc.
- Experience using transport encryption/security; TLS, mutual authorization via certificates, etc.
