Software Test Architect

With business purpose and increased focus on quality at the core of our plan, the Center of Excellence (COE) team at ConnectWise is expanding and seeking experienced, dynamic and technically sound Software Test Architects with the right attitude and aptitude, programmers interested in architecting and writing code for implementing test utilities and solutions. We are looking forward to highly adaptable individuals who can switch across tools and technologies, with AI being an integral part of our implementation strategy.

We are inviting applications with following skills and qualities,

Leads the design & development of Test Automation frameworks / harness and any in-house tools required
Conducts research to identify tools, automation frameworks and methodologies
Collaborates cross functionally with Architects, Technical Leads to proactively analyze current processes and practices and defines improvements in test strategy, test frameworks, infrastructure, tools and test coverage
Boosts the effectiveness of QE function by optimizing the testing processes
Shapes an agile testing strategy that smoothly fits with the demand of Partners and Standards
Pushes the team to its full potential and helps us in keeping the quality bar high everyday
Introduces and establishes Performance Engineering solutions for validating ConnectWise products
Is tool/programming language agnostic
Has expert level knowledge in tools and test frameworks based on Java, Python, BDD (Cucumber/JBehave), Karate, Cypress
Has hands-on knowledge working with Cloud-based technologies like AWS / Azure
Works in close liaison with SRE and Cloud Engineering teams to be able to define failover/high availability test scenarios and cost-effective test environments.
Has in-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab
Has proven experience working on AI-based test code generation tools like GitHub Copilot
Has experience in Virtualization, Containerization and Mocking Frameworks
Works as a Quality Ambassador, with great technical presentation skills
Demonstrates never-say-die attitude and is always ready to take on challenges head-on
Understands people values and demonstrates an outward mindset
