Software Tester

Job Description: The Software Tester at Apex Informatics will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests to ensure the quality and stability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, capable of ensuring our software products meet our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications to develop effective testing strategies.
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
Evaluate product code according to specifications.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
Report bugs and errors to development teams.
Help troubleshoot issues.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
Experience in software development and testing methodologies (including agile and waterfall).
Familiarity with various testing techniques (such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, etc.)
Experience with software testing tools and processes, including automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, etc.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
