Solution Architect (Kubernetes)

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 10 years of work experience required. At least 3 years of experience in Kubernetes required with valid CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification. Experience in the following areas required: • Developing product strategies and domain roadmaps with business product managers, lead systems architects, and more senior engineers. • Architecting solutions for managing Enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure at scale, across multiple regions. • Aligning product/business solutions with organizational technology strategy and multiple Product Managers or primary Business stakeholders • Collaborating with senior leadership, Enterprise Architects, and engineering leaders to develop robust cloud-based container solutions. • Interacting directly with third-party vendors and technology service providers. • Designing alerting, dashboards and monitoring tools for managing Kubernetes infrastructure • Monitoring capacity, performance, and cost metrics to ensure quality and identify opportunities for improvement. • Ability to record the use cases of customers and develop an architecture diagram. • Able to promote the adoption of best practices among customers and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance. • Capable of providing mentorship and direction to engineering and applications teams. • Furthering adaption of GitOps patterns and practices, service mesh, and blue/green or canary strategies.
