What you’ll do for us…

 

  • Lead the complete lifecycle of a project from design to deployment of o9’s solutions to

customers across industries and geographies.

● Understanding of our customer’s requirements regarding manufacturing processes by

conducting workshops with functional and business owners of the processes and

documenting it in detail

● Effectively map the business requirements into o9’s platform and come up with a clear, phased

achievable blueprint.

● Designing operational solutions to be used by end-users

on the shopfloor and which would interact with execution systems.

● Work with a team of experts to configure, solution as per the design to solve deep operations /

supply chain problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring process.

● Work with the customer to resolve issues and coordinate defect tracking, analysis and

resolution process

● Actively help in improving internal processes and product features based on customer

feedback by interfacing with the development and operations teams

● Support customer demonstrations

● Be a mentor and guide to junior members

● Be a Subject Matter Expert in the topic of Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling to drive

a team of junior members with potentially limited domain knowledge.

 

What you’ll have…

 

  • 7 years of experience with implementing supply chain planning applications is a MUST.

● 3+ years of designing and implementing Advanced Planning and Scheduling solutions is a

MUST.

● Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R,

SAS, CPLEX or similar is desirable

● Working knowledge of scripting using Python and/or JavaScript is a plus.

● Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Distribution Planning,

Master Planning and S&OP.

● Scheduling Specific Skills: Expert level comfort with core concepts of Production Planning

and Detailed Scheduling is a must. Should have a clear understanding of typical scheduling

objectives and constraints.

● Experience with SAP APO/PPDS is a bonus. Any experience of having worked on/for a

production facility (discrete and/or continuous manufacturing) is a big plus.

● Ability to improvise is key. Should be able to translate unique production constraints to the

use existing product capability, and articulate new requirements clearly to the Product

Management team.

● Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more

languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar is desirable

● Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation

Education: Master’s Degree. Degrees in the following fields: Operations Research, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields (including Supply Chain Engineering)
