Solution Designer - Data

"Skills and Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of strong Informatica BDM experience.
• Experience in handling big data domain deliveries
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Facilitate / participate in key Agile rituals across Scrum teams.
• Expertise in areas related to setting up of Big Data Systems from scratch, administration of Big Data Solutions, including Hadoop and Spark.
• Good understanding on the overall technology landscape in Big Data and shall be able to provide Aviva with professional and technical advice on concepts and technologies, as well as assist in evaluation of HDFS infrastructure requirements and design/deploy solutions.
• Experience: The resource shall possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years' experience in Big Data and related technologies.
• Experience in implementation of at least two Big Data Systems in Architect/ Design roles.
• Strong expertise in systems administration, Linux tools, configuration management on large scale environment, and shall have hands on experience in related tools.
• Hands on experience in tools within Hadoop stack like Sqoop, HDFS, MapReduce, HBase, Pig, Hive, Oozie is highly desirable. "
