Sourcing Manager

Job description: As the Sourcing Manager focused on PCBA commodities, you will play a pivotal role in the procurement process for our space industry projects. You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality PCBA components. This role requires a strong background in procurement, technical understanding of PCBA, and a passion for contributing to space exploration

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for PCBA commodities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and overall company objectives

Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with PCBA suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness

Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, implementing proactive measures to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuity of supply

Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management, to understand technical requirements and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies in all procurement activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

5+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on PCBA commodities

Strong technical understanding of Printed Circuit Board Assembly processes and components

Proven track record of successful supplier management and contract negotiation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
