We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Specialist - Mechanical Design with a leading MNC in Consumer appliance space in Hinjewadi, Pune.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute relevant actions all milestones of the lifecycle of the product
  • Work on Design changes, evaluate change to response effectivity, cost benefit analysis
  • Collaborate with Quality, R&D Engineering design, and establish intent of the changes
  • Escalate the projects of disagreements
  • Undertake changes in 3D CAD, 2D Drawings, service BOM, TDS etc and adhere to ISO processes of revisionand document control
  • Work on value engineering, value analysis projects towards enhanced the product Life Cycle
  • Execute product upgrade projects of the organization
  • Collaborate with factories, suppliers and critical component manufacturers for quality improvement       

 

  • Qualification & Experience:

  • Qualification: BE Mechanical
  • Experience : More than 5 year of design and development (Preferred in appliance design)

 

  • Knowledge:             
  • SolidWorks (hands on), PLM,PDM
  • DFMEA, PFMEA, KAPA etc and NPD processes
  • Plastic, sheet metal, rubber product design
  • Fundamentals of GDT
  • Manufacturing processes
  • VA VE Tools
