SQL DBA Architect with Azure Migration

Job Description:

13+ years of IT experience and minimum of 5+ years of experience on Azure Database Migration with technically guided, managed and governed the team. Willing to provide 24×7 support, flexible to work in the shifts.

Primary skills:

•        Understanding customer DB SQL, Windows, Linux server landscape

•        Configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability set

•        Configuring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key Vault

•        Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods.

•        Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly

•        Driving the cloud Solution Azure activities for large complex migration

•        Plan Storage and Capacity Management and create logical models and build physical models

•        Installing and configuring SQL Server all the version (200x to 2022)

•        Hands on experience on Windows and SQL server issues and troubleshooting.

Secondary Skills:

•        Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability in Azure

•        On-Prem/Cloud upgrade of SQL Server from Legacy version to latest versions in Azure

•        Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting & PowerShell script

•        Good understanding of Database Performance using various tools

•        Conforming to client compliances and expectations

Certifications (Good to have)

•        Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate

•        DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions

•        AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
