SQL DBA

Role Description

This is a Full-Time remote SQL DBA position at Enterprise Minds, Inc. The hired candidate will work on managing the security, performance, and availability of SQL Server instances, and will maintain database reliability and stability. They will also be responsible for managing and troubleshooting database replication, backup, and recovery procedures. Our ideal candidate should have relevant experience and be an immediate joiner.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in SQL Server databases management
Experience in database backup and restore procedures, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills
Experience in administering SQL Server databases in a production environment, designing and building new SQL Server instances
Experience with AlwaysOn and Windows Failover Clustering technologies
Proficiency in query tuning and writing complex SQL scripts and functions
Experience with monitoring systems such as SolarWinds, New Relic, and CloudWatch
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
