SQL Developer

Job Description

SQL Developer will develop MS-SQL queries and procedures, be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Creation of scripts, complex functions, and triggers to support the creation of applications.
• Working towards the quality and integrity of data in databases.
• Ability to design schemas for databases, dictionaries, and tables.
• Memory management for database systems.
• Creating documentation for database applications.
• Implementing database authorization and authentication.
• Troubleshooting issues that affect database performance.
• Timely and periodic copying of databases.
• Working on improving application performance.
• Creation and implementation of the system considering the needs of users.
• Using the best practices in the field to create and design databases.
• Database design.
• Performing database tests and troubleshooting.
• Use T-SQL to develop and implement procedures and functions.
• Review and interpret ongoing business requirements.
• Research required data.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Suggest new queries.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting.
• Experience working with XML data in SQL server.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree.
• 5+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
• Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases.
• Good time-management skills and problem-solving skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
