Job Description
SQL Developer will develop MS-SQL queries and procedures, be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Creation of scripts, complex functions, and triggers to support the creation of applications.
- Working towards the quality and integrity of data in databases.
- Ability to design schemas for databases, dictionaries, and tables.
- Memory management for database systems.
- Creating documentation for database applications.
- Implementing database authorization and authentication.
- Troubleshooting issues that affect database performance.
- Timely and periodic copying of databases.
- Working on improving application performance.
- Creation and implementation of the system considering the needs of users.
- Using the best practices in the field to create and design databases.
- Database design.
- Performing database tests and troubleshooting.
- Use T-SQL to develop and implement procedures and functions.
- Review and interpret ongoing business requirements.
- Research required data.
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Suggest new queries.
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
- Provide timely scheduled management reporting.
- Experience working with XML data in SQL server.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree.
- 5+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
- Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases.
- Good time-management skills and problem-solving skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
