SQL DW

Solid understanding of database schemas, data warehouse concepts and ETL processes

Proficient with Microsoft SQL, including database design , query optimization, data cubes, and data manipulation

Deep understanding of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and MDS

Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Data tools, Visual Studio

Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web development

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software applications

Proficient with various MS operating systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and use of the Internet

Familiar with ERP system inquiry screens

This person will be responsible for the overall enterprise data warehouse databases and MS SQL servers including design, development and maintenance of the Cadence Data Warehouse

Data warehouse development and Support

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design data warehouse enhancements that meet internal business needs

Integrate various data sets in enterprise data warehouse

Have the responsibility for all ETL activity that feeds data into the data warehouse

Develop and maintain data load scripts

Conduct thorough testing and debugging of scripts to ensure high-quality error free code

Troubleshoot any issues that might arise int he data warehouse process

Create and Maintain Data Reports

Leverage SSRS and knowledge of SQL to generate reporting data

Build enterprise reports - Monthly financial reports, Boards reports etc

Develop mechanisms to publish/disseminate commonly used reports

End User Training

Conduct regular training to enable users to create their own adhoc reports

Provide support to end users on the development of custom reports
