SQL Postgres Database Developer

Technical Skills

Expertise in SQL Server and PostgreSQL database design, development, and optimization

Expertise in T-SQL and PL/pgSQL functions, triggers and procedures

Expertise in SQL queries, and in query performance tuning and optimization

Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell Scripts) and tooling (Jenkins or similar) for automation

Experience in Dagster and/or Dagit and in orchestrating workflows using Apache AirFlow

Experience in database design, data modeling, and schema normalization

Experience in data warehousing concepts and ETL processes

Experience with database security best practices

 Experience with agile development methodologies

Experience with cloud-based database services such as Amazon RDS and 
Knowledge of both SQL Server and PostgreSQL database architectures

Knowledge of other databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB and Redshift 

Familiarity with database administration tasks such as backup and recovery, replication, and high availability configurations

Familiarity with AWS Cloud Platform with good domain knowledge on core services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, EBS, SQS, etc
