SQL/Access Engineer

Job Description:

1. Develop commercial software products using current programming languages and technologies.
2. Adhere to the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software.
3. Participate in beta testing of new tools and technologies, and modify/upgrade existing software versions.
4. Develop automated unit test programs and collaborate with Business Systems Analysts or users to gather application requirements and specifications.
5. Improve quality of service requirements such as usability, availability, and security, and work with QA Engineers to resolve defects.
6. Conduct technology research, adhere to best practices, and convert project specifications into detailed software models.
7. Build deployment packages and automate application and database builds in various QA environments.
8. Possess expertise in SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SQL, Visual C#/Python, Excel and Access programming.
9. Demonstrate a proven ability to work with large datasets.
10. Preferred experience with Epic.

Project Goal: Assist in role-based access updates to reduce ticket count.
