Required Skills:

  • 10+ years Native Android development in Kotlin,
  • Preferably using Jetpack Compose
  • System design with SOA/REST/GraphQL/Microservices
  • Relational or NoSQL database design and access,  PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Firebase,
  • Full scope test automation from unit to behavioral/functional to integration (JUnit)

Preferred

  • UAVs (GPS device units, DJI Drones)
  • Geospatial Information Systems user and functional experience, SDE and spatial analysis experience
  • Cloud-first development experience with automated, continuous delivery deployments
  • AWS

The candidate needs to be in STL and will be working hybrid to collaborate with the business

 

Associated Projects - Our Android application enables our users to accurately map features out in the field as well as plan and fly UAV data collection missions.

 

Required Skills:

Native Android development in Kotlin, preferably using Jetpack Compose

System design with SOA/REST/GraphQL/Microservices

Relational or NoSQL database design and access, e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Firebase, etc.

Full scope test automation from unit to behavioral/functional to integration (e.g JUnit)

Confidently learn and navigate 3rd party API documentation

Consuming new technologies with relentless desire

Customer engagement including ideation, design thinking, and seeking rapid feedback

Knowledge and experience in software craftsmanship, demonstrating curious proactive ego-less and collaborative working style.

Must be able to think through hard problems and work with an autonomous team to make them reality.

Challenge the status quo and bring new ideas.

 

 

Nice to have:

Agriculture domain knowledge

Experience with External Accessories and UAVs (e.g., GPS device units, DJI Drones)

Understanding of Geospatial Information Systems user and functional experience, SDE and spatial analysis experience

Cloud-first development experience with automated, continuous delivery deployments

Experience with AWS or similar cloud environment
