Sr. API Tester

Responsibilities:

•    Able to design, build, test and deploy effective test automation solutions
•    Apply, design, and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
•    Develop test automation scripts using existing tools/techniques like Selenium, Robot, etc.
•    Analyze Automation test results and prepare report
•    Define criteria and identify candidates for test automation
•    Collect and create test data for test automation
•    Interact with project teams (Dev/QA) to understand test automation objectives
•    Create test automation plan in conjunction with project schedule and deliverables
•    Participate in troubleshooting with teams to drive root cause identification and resolution of issues
•    Document, track and escalate issues using Defect tracking tools used in projects/program

Qualification:

•    5-8 years of solid, demonstrable experience in API manual and automation testing
•    Strong automated API/Microservices, Regression and Performance testing experience using Postman, Newman and Jmeter
•    Strong experience in defining test scope, test design and test management activities
•    Experience in web & mobile testing is a plus
•    Well aware of tools and technologies like Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Mocha, SOAPUI, Cucumber, Jira, Appian Platform
•    Strong experience in performing root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis with developers
•    Strong experience in executing test cases and identify and track defects with clear steps to reproduce
•    Experience in regression testing suite by updating test cases to include newly added functionality
•    Experience and knowledge of Agile development methodologies
