Sr Application Developer

JOB SUMMARY: 
We are seeking a Senior API Development Specialist to join our dynamic team to accelerate customer adoption and enhance customer engagement with our API Management Platform. In this role, you'll be crafting and sustaining APIs across various business units within an Agile SDLC environment and advocating for API best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reuse. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in Microservices and API development while gaining deep insights into our Client's products and services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain APIs for multiple lines of business, promoting API Management platform capabilities.
Work collaboratively across teams, including Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and Service Managers, in a rapidly evolving environment.
Enable business application developers through evangelizing SOA best practices focused on scalability, maintainability, and reuse.
Manage and translate complex business priorities into technical solutions.
Serve as a leader, leveraging stellar communication skills and a solid background in software development within SOA environments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in API Security (oauth, oidc, mTLS).
Practical experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Microservices.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to organizational differences and priorities.
