Sr. AWS Architect

Job Description:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience with Data Management technologies.
• Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight.
• AWS S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, Lambda, Athena, PySpark, Redshift, EMR, AWS RDB, AWS DynamoDB, AWS Glacier.
• AWS Architecture experience.
• AWS Certification preferred.
• Must have a good grasp issues of securing data in the cloud including systems with PII related data.
• Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and lead teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture.
• Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
• Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction.
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.
• Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices.
• Proven track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes.
• Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.

Experience Required:

• Architect having strong analytical thinking and technical recommendation as technology/solution advisor.
• Help define and maintain strategic technology standards, frameworks, principles, and roadmaps at Enterprise Level.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, working sessions, track architecture items, follow up with stakeholders and close the task with artifacts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain practice for corporate architecture group.
• Facilitating architecture forum for technology and application review.
• Understand the ask from CXO level delegates and ability to prepare corporate presentations and documentations.
• Drive initiatives across business units and bring to closure.
