Sr. Backend Developer (NodeJS)

Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer (Remote, Full-Time) 

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated mid-level Node.js Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TypeScript, NestJS, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL. This is a full-time, remote position with the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

● Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL. 

● Write well-structured and efficient unit tests to ensure code quality and proper functionality. 

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver software solutions from ideation to production, without relying on a dedicated QA team. 

● Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance to ensure seamless user experience. 

● Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and implementing suggestions for improvements. 

● Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. 

Qualifications: 

● 5+ years of professional experience in software development using Node.js and TypeScript. 

● Strong knowledge of NestJS, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL. ● Experience writing and maintaining unit tests for Node.js applications. 

● Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. 

● Proficiency in Git version control and agile development methodologies. ● Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. 

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment. 

● A self-starter with the ability to take ownership of projects and work independently, as well as in a team setting. 

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
