REQUIREMENT DETAILS

  • Implement and troubleshoot complex technical environments across the global enterprise.
  • This position will represent the Virtual Workspace department as a member of the Infrastructure Operations team.
  • Be responsible for infrastructures related to desktop virtualization, application virtualization, and remote access solutions.
  • Design and manage highly complex "Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops” infrastructures, with an emphasis on delivering multi-user shared desktop platform and seamless applications.
  • Manage and support solutions within Citrix Cloud and Microsoft Azure to drive cloud initiatives.
  • Manage and support the migration and lifecycle of Citrix components for on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Support VDI improvement efforts and acts as SME supported technologies.
  • Gather and compile accurate information to analyze risks and work with Engineering teams to implement approved solutions.
  • Proactively improve or automate management processes using PowerShell or other scripting methods.
  • Implement high-impact changes to improve user experience, operational efficiency, and support processes.
  • Attention to detail and can provide documentation updates to SOP's.
  • Manage a 4 data center, active / active GLSB NetScaler environment and effectively plan and deploy updates and firmware upgrades
  • Manage multiple StoreFront environment in production, stage, and development environments.

Skills and Experience Needed
Required:

  • 4 years of experience with leading the support of enterprise level solutions to enable and secure a globally dispersed remote workforce.
  • High-level knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy and policy management, including but will not be limited to: Microsoft Active Directory, focusing on Group Policy design and implementation for the Citrix space. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix StoreFront and Federated Authentication Services, and other related technologies.
  • Highly proficient in the following areas: workspace virtualization, application presentation, directory services, AD Group Policy and Citrix policy management, configuration management, and workflow automation.

Desired:

  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance to other team members.
  • CCA-V or CCP-V certification highly desired.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field, plus 8 years of experience working with desktop and application virtualization technologies.
