 Review architectural requirements and provide analysis for network and services specifications,
network design, network partitioning, and network architecture definition
 Engineer, plan, and implement complex network configurations for regional and national data centers
supporting a service provider network
 Effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagrams and
Engineering Design Packages
 Provide advanced expertise in the development of network test, validation, and integration plans on
projects and assurance of network integrity
 Work independently with vendors to understand, test, and drive new innovative features
Skills, Experience and Requirements

 
Ideal Senior Data Center Network Engineer candidates have:
 Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer Engineering preferred
 5 or more years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space
 3 or more years of experience with data center networking
 3-5 years of experience specifically in spine & leaf architecture in either ACI and/or Nexus
Dashboard/VxLAN Fabric deployments
 3-5 year of Nexus 7k, 9k, and FEX architecture
 Professional networking certifications – CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent
 Public cloud certifications a plus
 Cisco ACI & Nexus Dashboard/ VxLAN Fabric solution architect.
 Designing and implementing Nexus Dashboard physical and virtual solutions
 Proven network architecture experience in a single pod, multi-pod, and multi-site deployment
topologies.
 specializing in network centric mode, application centric mode deployments, migration expertise from
three tier to two-tier spine and leaf architecture
Successful Senior Data Center Network Engineer candidates have extensive knowledge in:
 Data center networking,Cisco ACI.
 BGP, IS-IS, VRFs and QoS
 MPLS and/or segment routing (SR-MPLS, SRv6)

 Connectivity to high-speed public Internet facilities
 Highly available network architectures, failover, and redundant configurations 
 Software-defined networking (design and traffic engineering)
 Network configuration automation (scripting with Perl, Python, Bash) is plus
