Sr. Data Engineer-SQL Data Migration

1.Experience migration of on-prem SQL data to no-SQL cloud solutions.
SAFe Agile principles 
2.Interfaces including Azure - Data Factory, Log Analytics, Databricks, Synapse, Cosmos.
3.Tools such as LoadRunner or SolarWinds to measure the performance of solutions
4.Previous experience in Data Modeling, Data Classification, and zones, data movement, Data architecture, and reporting
5.Experience with cloud storage providers such as Azure Cosmos or Google Cloud

Job Summary:
Designs, codes, tests, and implements data movement, dashboarding, and analytical assets; develops system documentation according to SAFe Agile principles and industry standards.
Evaluate architectural options and define the overall architecture of the data migration project.
Defines functional and non-functional requirements including performance monitoring, alerting, and code management and ensuring alignment with technology best practices and SLAs.
Determines major elements and subsystems and defines interfaces as well as architectural runway.
Providing subject matter expertise and technical consulting support on either vendor or internal applications and interfaces including Azure - Data Factory, Log Analytics, Databricks, Synapse, Cosmos.
Interfaces with the Product Owner and IT leadership at the project level to define and estimate features for the agile team.

Qualifications:
Required-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training.

8+ years of industry experience (business application design, development, implementation, and/or solution architecture)
Required-Prior experience with SQL to no-SQL cloud solution data migrations
Experience with tools such as LoadRunner or SolarWinds to measure the performance of solutions
Understanding of architecture practices and execution for large projects/programs
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Previous experience in Data Modeling, Data Classification, and zones, data movement, Data architecture, and reporting
Experience with cloud storage providers such as Azure Cosmos or Google Cloud.
