UST is searching for a Sr. Developer who will be required to be part of a high-performance agile team required to fulfil customer requirements on Nearshore time zone while working with Offshore and Onsite teams.

The Opportunity

 

  • Show initiative and motivation to solve problems, adapt to changes, and follow through on tasks.
  • Responsible for design, code development, implementation, and support of technical solutions for various customer facing online platforms.
  • Work in Agile teams following Agile methodologies to deliver high quality products on time with performance and localization requirements in mind.
  • Build, test and deliver high quality, complex frameworks and systems and diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Use the latest development tools and follow industry and Wolters Kluwer technical standards.
  • Understand the use of technology and how its implementation affects strategic business goals.
  • Evaluate new development tools and drive their implementation within our development teams.
  • Mentor less-experienced staff by providing daily guidance and direction.

What You Need

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience using the following technologies:
  • Drupal
  • Php
  • C#
  • SQL server
  • Successful track record delivering high quality code on time while working in Agile Teams and following Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise designing, coding, and implementing architectures and applications that have 24/7 stability, performance, scalability, and localization requirements in mind.
  • Experience with error handling, asynchronous processing, queue driven processing, event processing, multi-threading.
  • Experience with architecture/design patterns and re-usability concepts and database design
  • Able to communicate on issues/problems and coordinate with Product Management on day-to-day work.
  • Able to understand complex requirements and partake in Agile ceremonies.
  • Able to work with changing requirements based on urgency.
