Sr. DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

♦   Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and 5-8 years of experience in Build/DevOps Engineering

♦   Strong Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS. Azure & GCP is a plus.

♦   Strong Experience working with AWS services like EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, ECS, ECR, RDS, CodeBuild and CodeCommit. Glue, DynamoDB & Redshift is a plus.

♦   Experience in monitoring tools such as New Relic.

♦   Strong experience working with VCS tools (Git, SVN), including branching and merging strategie.

♦   Strong experience in CI tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, package deployment tools like Octopus Deploy, uDeploy, configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible.

♦   Excellent knowledge of the entire product development/testing life cycle and processes. Require ability to manage multiple projects and environment

♦   Experience with design, development, and testing of automated deployment scripts in cloud and on-premise environments

♦   Direct experience working with cutting edge DevOps tools

♦   Strong understanding of operating systems, especially Windows and Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu)

♦   Strong scripting skills (Python, Powershell, Shell, etc

♦   Experience in virtualization and virtualized environments

♦   Experience working with container technology such as Docker

♦   Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with team members and managers with confidence and clarity

♦   Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies

♦   Desire to teach and mentor other engineers with varying domains of expertise

♦   Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
